30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 21: picture of yourself.
This is one of the more recent photos...
Day 22: Favorite city.
I will always love New York. and someday, I will live there.

30 Days of Truth: Day 10: Someone you wish you didn't know.
....I'm going to skip this one.
Day 11: Something people compliment you on the most.
My eyes & smile. Always. I also hear that I look like Mandy Moore..? I don't see it.
This is an old picture of me - almost 2 years old. But I love it - and my collarbones. Haha:)

Halloween!
I never ever do anything special for Halloween. Generally, it is my least favorite "holiday." But this year, I went to a fuuun costume party with some friends (Colby was Frankenstein & Blake was a mummy. It was just about the cutest ever). Lots and lots of fun :)

I hope your Halloween was a fun one too:)

Happy Halloween, yo.

Last night, some of my favorite kiddos stopped by the house for special Halloween treats that my momma made for them. They were dressed up as Thing 1 & Thing 2 (duh). It was so freaking precious. (That's their dad in the first picture with them) I absolutely love Halloween - but I've never dressed up for it before. Except that one time in 6th grade when I was a flapper. But that doesn't count. :)
Now, if you'll excuse me... I've gotta get my Kesha on. :)

Some say it is impossible to have more than one best friend.
To those people.... I say, suck it. Because I have the 3 best friends anyone could ever ask for.
One of these best friends, Cassie, moved away a few months ago for college. It is extremely hard not seeing her every single day, like I used to. But... she's back in town for Halloween! We hung out last night... and this is the product of not seeing each other for 2 months:

we get pretty silly late at night. Really silly. Obviously.

Anyways... I had to work this morning, and this evening, so I had a 5 hour block of time that I could do whatever, so instead of going home and cleaning my room, and showering, and all that good stuff... I went to Springfield to see Elsie's new store! The new Red Velvet is huuuge, and beautiful. I'm going to miss The Style... but then I just remember that most of their stock is in RV now. So... there's nothing to miss! Emma's bubble tea was fabulous, and I can't wait to bring my friends. :)

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 20 (I think): Nicknames.
I don't have many.

-Scout
....that's all. :)

30 Days of Truth: Day 9: Someone you didn't want to let go.
Technically, I'd say I didn't really let her go - but she really did drift away; we both did. I miss her a lot every now and then. Her sister is having a baby in a few month, and there's a possibility of her moving back to Missouri to help out with the baby... and I really, really hope she does.

Happy Halloween!!
I'm dressing up as Ke$ha. For real style.
What are you doing for Halloween?! :)

October.

People keep saying that October is the best moth ever..
I can't lie- it really is fantastic.
The weather lately is wonderful. Its perfect cardigan & boots weather.
But not only is October wonderful weather-wise, but it is also the month of lovely Halloween. Not my favorite "holiday", but its definitely in the top 3. ;)
Now, I've never really done the whole dress up for Halloween thing before, and for some reason... Colby and I are taking it very seriously this year, even though we have zero plans for parties or anything of the sort. We just want to dress up and take cute pictures, I think.
But anyways... I love the costumes and candy and photography that Halloween brings out. Here's what I've seen floating around weheartit lately:

helloooo :)

This has been such a wonderful Friday! I didn't have to go into work until 1, which was such a good thing. I had time to sleep in, and just do whatever. It was a nice change of pace. Every week is such a routine. It gets old, and this was nice. My best friend came to see me at work, too! I only get to see him during one of my classes on Tuesdays/Thursdays, so its always a nice surprise when we get to see each other. :)
Momma and I got some chinese takeout since it was just the two of us at th
e house tonight, and we watched "Dear John", even though I'd seen it 3 times already, and she was "not in the mood to cry tonight." haha, she said it has the worst ending ever. I love her.
Now I'm just getting ready for bed, since I have to be at work bright and ea
rly tomorrow (10 am. Yuck). Tomorrow is going to be full of thrifty goodness. Best friend
and I are going shopping for our so called "necessities" (aka, things we definitely do not need), and we're going to Funtiques (aka best place in the whole entire world). We might even stop by Cider Days for a little while. Tomorrow will definitely be a good day.

And as for the near future, I'm contemplating Halloween costumes...
I never go all out for Halloween. Never, ever. But this year, I'm trying to make
the most out of it, since all of my friends will be together (college has for real separated all of us. Its crappy).
So, this is where y.o.u. come in! I need your opinion.
I either want to
a) get this this mask, and a cute dress:

or
b) wear a very sleepy-Holly Golightly-esque costume:
I just don't know! I'm leaning more towards the owl right now. But then again, I've been super obsessed with watching Breakfast at Tiffany's every night, so I may end up going with Holly Golightly. Hmm.. choices, choices. Any & all ideas are sure welcome :)
Have an amazing weekend, and I'll post my shopping adventures soon!
xoxo Haley
