Adjustments to Le Bedroom!

I added this little bit above my bed a few weeks ago, and am so pleased with it! I later added a row of paper doilies above the "I love you" bunting. So sweet. I've been "wanting" a headboard for my bed for so long, but finally decided to get creative with headboard, and I had some extra fabric hanging around, so here it is! Although, with the addition of my little reading corner... (sharing later this week, I promise!) nothing in my room really matches anymore. So that's my next goal. Achieving one total look for my room. I may need Colby's help! 

And this sweet addition has been up since a little before Valentines Day! I've been trying to come up with something else to put up there, but I'm totally blanking. I'll probably spend my afternoon on Pinterest trying to scrounge up some ideas! 

I promise to be back later this week. I've got a monster of a speech to give on Tuesday! Yuck. And then I'm off to St. Louis on Friday (Blake is going to see Radiohead, and I'm not much of a fan, so I'm hanging out with my aunt and cousin Max). I will definitely try to squeeze in some blog time while I'm there!

Nesting: The Living Room

I'm super excited to share photos of my living room today! It is my absolute favorite part of our home, as it was in our last apartment. So... enjoy! 

The kitchen is also part of the room, which is perfect for those nights when I'm watching a movie and Blake is cooking... we can still talk and watch the movie! It's wonderful.
Since posting my last edition of "Nesting," I've already changed the entire layout of my room! There are few more projects that I want to work on, but after I'm completely satisfied, I'll definitely share it here!

I'm currently watching "Laurie Berkner Band: Party Day" with the little ones (we're having an ultra cool pajama party). If you are a momma & haven't heard of Laurie Berkner... seriously, look into her music DVDs. She's amazing. She makes the best kids music! Every time we watch or listen to Party Day, Chloe (who's 3), pays such close attention to it... nothing can distract her! Perfect for when you're fixing meals or have other things to work on!

Previous Nestings: my bedroom

Nesting: My Bedroom.

My weekly Saturday feature is all about homes! About 6 months ago, I moved out of my parents home and into an apartment with my sweet roommate (who's getting married today! Yay Anna & Isaac!). About 3 months after that, we had some issues with our downstairs neighbors, so we moved out of that apartment and into a bigger and way, way better apartment closer to downtown. We l.o.v.e. it! 

So, here on the little old blog, I will be posting about our ever changing home, as well as some inspiration posts here and there, for my sake. ;) 

So to start out the new feature, I thought I'd share a few little peeks at my bedroom. It is by no means fully decorated. I still have so much I want to do, but I'm currently lacking on the time to do it!
