Makeup Loves.

Growing up, my mom didn't tell me much about beauty products and how to do my makeup, so I kinda just went at it blindly. Up until a few months ago, I still had no clue what I was doing (and really, I still don't). But after reading a couple of beauty blogs, I decided it was worth a shot to at least try and learn a little more about makeup and how to apply it. I absolutely love trying out new products.

Currently I've been working my way through the ELF Studio products. I like them ish, but some aren't quality products, and although the price is great - you really do get what you pay for. I am a huge fan of Mary Kay, though (tried and true products - they'll always be a favorite of mine!) Since I'm still learning - are there any certain products you swear by? I'd love to read about (and try!) what you all like to use! I'd like to have the key products I use on a daily basis, and really cut down on the amount of makeup I own! Any suggestions would be useful. :)

  1. MAC Studio Fix powder is my #1! Although it's a bit pricy, I find it definitely worth it. I see girls who apply powder a million times a day... I only apply once and it stays looking matte and fresh throughout the whole day. They also match your skin tone perfectly. I love MAC everything.

  2. I am a big Urban Decay girl. I like that all the eyeshadows have glitter in them which make them really great for evening..though...I do wear them all day everyday. I stick to cheap eyeliner since it seems if I get it at Sephora or Walmart, they all work the dame.

  3. I've been using maybelline FIT foundation, powder, and concealer. Definitely my favorite of that stuff I've ever used.
For blush, I typically use the mousse stuff (i think you have it!).
I LOVE cover girl lash blast in the orange tube. best stuff ever!
    i don't usually wear real lip stuff--just vaseline! : )

  4. bobbi brown skin foundation, mac concealers, mac studio fix powder, loreal liquid eyeliner, maybelline mascaras, revlon lipsticks.

  5. I actually did a post about this a few months ago cause I have a few tried and true standbys that I always use.. For blush I use the same thing you have and I also use Maybelline's dream liquid mousse foundation. I've been using Revlon's liquid eyeliner for years and it's the only kind I really like. Other than that, just chapstick and go! I like to keep it super basic so that I feel put together but it doesn't take me an hour to put my face on in the morning. :)
