Day two (..and three) of the blog challenge!
day two: explain the meaning behind your blog name.
Umm... I have no real explanation for my blog name. Its my name. That's all. I was born "Elizabeth Haley," but I've always been called Haley by everyone I know. When I got into the whole blogging/twitter/whatever thing, I started going by both. So, please. Call me Haley. But if you must, you can call me Elizabeth, too, I guess. :)
day three: first love.
My first love is honestly Jesus Christ. He is my rock, and I'm really unsure of where I would be if it wasn't for my faith in God. For a while (around the ages of 14/15) I went through my rebellious stage, and didn't believe in anything, and questioned my life, and blah blah blah. But through all of that, I realized that there is a Savior who loves me for who I am, no matter what. He was gracious enough to give me the very breath I'm breathing right now. How could I not love someone so merciful and powerful?
But.. in a "boy sense" of things... Mr. Tyler was my first "real love." Our relationship was far from perfect, and a few things got in the way of the real purpose of relationships. I had always wanted to marry him, ever since I was 15 years old, and now I'm 19, and I know that life doesn't just work out according to MY plan. I need to be patient and stop planning my life before its really even started. I miss him occasionally, but I'm learning that this time in my life is for serving God the best I can on my own. I need to figure out who I am before I can attach myself to someone else.

Day 2 & 3.. done!

Funny story!
I live in a really (really) small town. We have about... 5ish thousand people here. Anyways, there's this girl who's family goes to my church, and I've known her for a few years. A while back, she moved away for college & for her dancing career and whatnot, but her family still lives here. She recently came home for her wedding shower, which was held at the tea room I work at. Well, well... She is getting married to the drummer of Band of Horses. YES. CRAZY, I know. But anyways.. this wedding shower was almost over, and guess who walks in to pick her up? None other than her fiancee, who is the drummer for my favorite, favorite band. Yeah. The Band of Horses drummer was in MY tea room.
And the best part is...
That was my day off.
So yeah. I didn't get to meet him.

Xo. Haley :)
