I Heart Kanye West.

I'm sorry, but I love Kanye more than life itself, I'm pretty sure.

He is a musical genius and I've had his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy on repeat for the past week (I'm proud to report that I can do bits & pieces of each song, but its the Haley-super-white versions).

I am going to be very bold right now: Kanye West is my hero.

I'm going to be extremely bold, yet again: I'm a huge fan of what he did to Taylor Swift.

Now - before you go unfollowing me and all that jazz..

Beyonce SO had the best video of all time! I'm not even joking. Her video for Single Ladies was so simple - but amazing. Can you dance like Beyonce? Probably not. I know I can't - Breigh and I tried one time. Taylor Swift's video was STUPID.. her music is.. yuck. And when Kanye got up on that stage and rightfully ruined Taylor's "moment" ... he was just saying what every single one of us were thinking. Just saying. :)

Anyways, this was not the direction I intended to go..

Back to my love for Kanye:

highlight of my weekend:

The Room.

The most epic movie anyone will ever see in their lifetime. For real.

Tommy Wiseau is pretty much the best man alive. He made this gem of a movie and he also made the short film "The House That Drips Blood on Alex"... which is just as epic.

But seriously. The Room, although horribly executed (and horribly written, and just plain horrible), is amazing, beyond all comparison.

I watched this the other night with my friend, Blake, who's seen it probably a million times, and can quote pretty much all of it. It is absolutely ridiculous. This movie was by far the best part of my weekend. Sunday night was pretty rad too, when I found Wiseau's short film online.

I swear... I will SO make this cake for Blake's birthday next year. This is the best. Ever.

I am in l o v e with CocoRosie, Joanna Newsom, and Bat For Lashes today.

They've been my baking music for a while, but recently, they've turned into 24/7 music. :)

CocoRosie makes some messed.up. videos. But... I love them. "Gallows" is currently my favorite song right now. And I'm super in love with the video too.

this video is just magic. really.

The first time I heard this song was in the movie "The Strangers." I couldn't listen to this in the dark for the longest time. Darn scary movies.

Another favorite song right now. Florence Welch can do no wrong.

... I think its safe to say I listen to fairly creepy music upon occasion.

Oh well.
