My roomie Anna and I had some issues with our downstairs neighbors, so we moved into a bigger (and way, way better) apartment that's even closer to downtown Springfield, AND out of the ghetto!
Here are some peeks (and if you follow me on Instagram, this is probably old news to you. Hahaha):
Side note: I am way too excited about my new closet. This closet is huge. Seriously, like the size of my bedroom at my parents home. It's h.u.g.e!
(this is in my bedroom - still trying to find a way to hang things on the wall without using nails. A few have pointed out that there's a method on Pinterest... can someone link me to this?!)

I am seriously head over heels in love with our new space.
The brick walls, the exposed pipes, the huge windows and beautiful natural light... sigh. It is beyond perfect! Anna and I are so, so happy!
Things may continue to be quiet for a while.. we have absolutely no internet at the new place (maybe something we need to invest in...), so forgive me in advance.
Bits & Pieces:
* pop on over to Anna's blog and congratulate her & Isaac... they just got engaged! :)
* pray for Miss Breighann. She's feeling way under the weather & may have to have surgery on her port placement (again. sad face).
* I am beyond happy right now. Beyond. I'm ready for these next few months to speed on by! #vague
* Blake and I are going to a Hawthorne Heights concert tomorrow night... my 8th grade dreams are coming true!!
* I'll be back soon with a full home tour, a peek at the family photos Colby Kern did for my fam, and a late fall playlist!

command strips are awesome for hanging stuff without nails! my house has really old plaster walls so i don't like to nail stuff in so i hang almost everything with command strips. and when you need to remove them they come off really easily. i love them.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so nice! i love your bed set up!
ReplyDeleteOkay, first of all? Nice house! I love exposed brick.
ReplyDeleteI just kind of stumbled upon your blog and have to tell you that you are literally the first blogger I have seen who has spelled "peeks" correctly. Usually people write "let me show you a peak of ... whatever". Your post was such a relief, things like that drive me crazy. hahaha
