5 questions to make you think.

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

I saw this on Miss Carly's blog, who saw it here first. And I thought I would do it. :)

1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Probably somewhere in New York. Not in New York City, but somewhere where I could get to the city easily. I wouldn't want to work there, or live there, but I'd like to be able to go there anytime, any day, whenever I wanted.

2. Are you happy with where you live?
I'm not really sure. There are pros and cons. I live with my parents in a really small town, that I've lived in my entire life. Its good because I don't have to pay rent, or for food, or any bills whatsoever (I don't even pay for my gas. Haha). But at the same time, I am not independent at all, and it's extremely frustrating. I'm nearly 20, in college, and am still dependent on my parents. So in that sense, no, I am not happy. But I'm working on liking it a bit more.

3. How often do you go on vacation?
I go on one big vacation, to the beach or somewhere like that, at least once or twice a year. But I go on mini-vacations to St. Louis all the time. My aunt lives there so I try to visit whenever I can. It's extremely refreshing to just get away for the weekend.

4. If you could change your profession & start all over, what would you do?
Well. I don't exactly have a career yet. But, at this point in my life, I would've done things differently in high school. I would've been more involved, and worked harder in my classes. I didn't take high school seriously at all, and I really regret that. I also would've chosen a different college. But it's not too late to change that.

5. Are you honestly happy right now?
Yes. I am. This is the happiest I've been in my entire life. Even if I do live at home. I get to see my momma every day, and that is a-okay in my book.

  3. appreciate living at home while you can girl. save up as much money as possible so that when you do move out, you'll be all set! that's one thing i wish i had of done...is save money more when i didn't have any expenses and was living at home. i guess because i didn't have rent or food or bills, i just blew all my money on stupid stuff...now that i have rent and groceries and bills (lots of them!) i wish i had of saved more.

also, it would be awesome to see my mum (& dad) everyday. you will miss them when you move out! appreciate this time, xo.

  4. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. -Mark Twain
